Chart Topping R&B Pop Sensation Rihanna and Sizzling Country Singer Julie Roberts Record Interpretations of Superstar Songwriter Ne-Yo's 'Just Be Happy'.
Beginning in December, fans of the best- selling CLINIQUE HAPPY fragrance will be tuning in to another kind of hit. That's when "Just Be Happy," an original song commissioned for the fragrance and composed by gold and platinum selling singer-songwriter Ne-Yo, hits radio waves around the world. Performed in two different versions -- one by gold and platinum pop star Rihanna and one by gold-certified country sensation Julie Roberts -- "Just Be Happy" expresses the spirit of happiness in music much the same way CLINIQUE HAPPY does in fragrance.
Music has been a key element of CLINIQUE HAPPY's brand persona since its launch in 1997. Several well-loved "happy" songs -- including "C'mon Get Happy" performed by Judy Garland, The Turtles' "Happy Together" and "Make Someone Happy" sung by Jimmy Durante -- have been associated with the fragrance. This year, however, brings something completely new.

LOS ANGELES — When it came time to choose the follow-up to her smash singles "S.O.S." and "Unfaithful," Rihanna turned not to management or record-label professionals for guidance, but to her computer.
"Out of all my songs [available for sale] on iTunes, that's the third most downloaded, behind 'S.O.S' and 'Unfaithful,' " the Barbados-born beauty said of A Girl Like Me's "We Ride." "It's having good feedback, so I'm gonna give [fans] what they want."
Fortunately, "We Ride" also happens to be one of Rihanna's favorites and, in her words, "a big summer song."
It was ladies' night in the balcony at West Hollywood's House of Blues. Orange T-shirted Clinique reps passed out samples of the perfume Happy to sextets of giddy party girls and best-friend-forever pairs out to see their favorite new singing heroine as the few fellows present faded into the background. On the dance floor, the crowd was more mixed — definitively mixed, in fact, with both genders, most races and apparently all sexual persuasions sweating together as the DJ spun hits from Usher and Sean Paul. The room's vibration was aggressively positive, well suited to Sunday's appearance by Rihanna, pop's latest polyglot sweetheart.
Rihanna is hitting the road this summer for her first headlining tour.
The trek, sponsored by Clinique, will kick off June 30 in San Francisco, California, where she will appear with Field Mob and Jennie Ortega and continue through a September 3 show in Detroit, Michigan with Ciara.
Along the way, she will also share the stage with Hilary Duff in Toms River, New Jersey, and Sean Paul in Gilford, New Hampshire.
The itinerary for Rihanna’s summer tour of North America follows:
Sorry for the lack of updates lately, i just went away for a few days. Anyways I'm back now and the site should now be updated daily.
